“From Youth National Champion to World Medalist, shaping the next generation of fly fishers.”
Jack Arnot began fly fishing at the age of 13 in his hometown of Vail, Colorado, surrounded by some of the finest trout waters in the world. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a passion when he joined his first Team USA Youth Clinic, where he was mentored by world-class anglers who instilled both skill and respect for the sport.
By 2016, Jack had become the Youth National Champion in 2016 and went on to win gold and silver team medals with Team USA at the Youth World Championships in Vail and Spain. Since transitioning into the adult circuit, he has remained one of the country’s top competitors, ranked among the top three anglers nationally for the past two years.
Most recently, Jack won bronze team medals with Team USA at the 2024 and 2025 Adult World Championships in France and Spain. He will spend the rest of 2025 and 2026 preparing for Adult World Championships located in Island Park Idaho.
Beyond competition, Jack has built a career sharing fly fishing with others apart from his full- time day job. Since 2018, he has guided anglers from all walks of life and serves as a part-time instructor for the USA Youth Fly Fishing Team, helping to coach the next generation of world champions.
Passionate about conservation, Jack believes in protecting freshwater resources so future generations can enjoy the same exceptional waters that shaped his journey. For him, the greatest reward lies not only in medals and titles, but in giving back to the sport, its community, and the rivers that made it all possible.
